It is known for its calming affects and its ability to alleviate symptoms of physical and psychological stress (Liu et al., 2013).

15ml Copaiba: Beta-caryophyllene (BCP) is a sesquiterpene found in copaiba, melissa, ylang ylang, and black pepper essential oils. Previous research has shown that beta-caryophyllene activates the cannabinoid type 2 receptor just as an endogenous signal would. The CB2 receptor has a number of functions both inside and outside of the central nervous system.

The CB2 receptor site in the brain acts as a neuromodulator of dopaminergic activity and therapeutic target for learning, memory, mood, addiction, anxiety, stress, neuroinflammation, and oxidative stress (Bahi et al., 2014; Javed et al., 2016).  New research suggests that activation of the cannabinoid system may help to support neuron health as well as learning and memory.
