About the contents in this kit:
15ml Lavender oil: The primary chemical constituent found in lavender essential oil is linalool, a naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol (a volatile unsaturated element composed of two units, carbon and hydrogen) that is present in high concentrations in many flowers and spices. Experimental research suggests that linalool may promote feelings of calmness and relaxation when inhaled through a diffuser and is therefore a great tool for combating feelings of anxiousness. Its pleasant aroma is more likely preferred when compared to the aroma of other essential oils, especially for younger children and adolescents.

Ingredients: Lavender, Magnolia, Neroli, Sweetgum, Wild Orange, Spearmint, Copaiba, Rosemary
Adaptiv comprises the above essential oils to support the processing of anxious emotions. In preliminary studies, the scent of Lavender, a main ingredient of Adaptiv, has been found to contribute to anxiolytic like effects in an anxiety provoking environment. Lavender, Magnolia, Neroli, and Sweetgum provide stress-relieving effects while Wild Orange and Spearmint energize and uplift. Copaiba and Rosemary soothe anxious feelings also to round out the calming blend.

Ingredients: Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, Osmanthus
Balance was created by doTERRA for the purpose of grounding emotions and bringing a sense of calming to the oil user. 15ml Copaiba: Beta-Caryophyllene (BCP) is a sesquiterpene found in copaiba, melissa, ylang ylang, and black pepper essential oils. Previous research has shown that beta-caryophyllene activates the cannabinoid type 2 receptor just as an endogenous signal would. The CB2 receptor has a number of functions both inside and outside of the central nervous system. The CB2 receptor site in the brain acts as a neuromodulator of dopaminergic activity and therapeutic target for learning, memory, mood, addiction, anxiety, stress, neuroinflammation, and oxidative stress (Bahi et al., 2014; Javed et al., 2016). New research suggests that activation of the cannabinoid system may help to support neuron health.
